The Night Before (initially in production as X-Mas) is an upcoming American Christmas comedy film directed byJonathan Levine and written by Levine, Evan Goldberg, Kyle Hunter, and Ariel Shaffir and produced by Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg. The film stars Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Anthony Mackie, and is about an annual reunion of three childhood friends on Christmas Eve.

Principal photography began on August 11, 2014, in New York City. Good Universe and Point Grey Pictures are producing the film which Columbia Pictures will release on November 20, 2015.
